Workshop Location

The VIII CPCM Workshop will be held in the Colorado State University's C. Wayne McIlwraith Translational Medicine Institute (TMI) Grand Event Hall (3rd floor). The address for the TMI building is 2350 Gillette Dr, Fort Collins, CO 80523.


Accommodations

The Fort Collins Hilton Hotel is the closest hotel with frequent bus service (CSU Around the Horn bus; see transportation information below) between the hotel and the TMI building. The hotel is also only one mile away from the conference location (23 minute walk). CSU has negotiated a corporate discount with the hotel using this link (Hilton reservations) or using the information in the graphic below.

Other hotel options: 

There are many other hotel options in Fort Collins if you prefer to stay elsewhere. Note that we do not plan to arrange shuttle transportation to these hotels given the close proximity of the Fort Collins Hilton to the CSU TMI building. Transportation

Getting to Fort Collins from Denver International Airport:

The Denver International Airport (DEN) is the best airport for travel to Fort Collins, CO. 

United Airlines offers travel to Northern Colorado Regional Airport (FNL) via DEN. Travel between DEN and FNL (otherwise known as Fort Collins/Loveland Airport) is by United bus, transfers take place at a gate in DEN. The FNL destination allows travelers to check-in and clear TSA at FNL, avoiding the main terminal at DEN. Limited ground transportation is available at FNL. Car Rentals:

Rental cars are available at DEN, FNL, and in Fort Collins. If you rent a car from DEN, include the cost for tolls in your rental contract to avoid a surprise billing after returning home. 

Enterprise Car Rental in Fort Collins (970-224-2592) will provide transportation between the rental site and the hotels for car pickup/returns. (Hours: M-F 8am – 5pm). Federal government employees, please reserve your rental car through the government portal to receive your discounted rate.

Local transportation options:

Attendees staying at the Fort Collins Hilton Hotel can take the free CSU Around the Horn bus (see transit map below). This bus runs every 20 minutes from ~7am to 6:30 pm. 

Uber and Lyft have service in Fort Collins, but there are generally fewer drivers than in larger cities. Ride reservations are recommended if you plan to use ride share options.

Public bus transportation (Transfort) is free in Fort Collins. You can see bus schedules/routes on their website.
