Registration
Registration for the conference: https://conferencereg.colostate.edu/VIII_CPCM_2024. Registration will reopen at 7am Mountain Time on Tuesday, 3 September 2024. In-person registration can be completed using the website above.Â
In-person registration includes coffee breaks daily, an icebreaker reception on Tuesday, lunches on Wednesday and Friday, and a full breakfast each morning (Wednesday-Friday). The following options are available for registration:
Regular Attendee: $400
One-day option: $150
Student: $150
Virtual participant: $150

Optional registration options are as follows:
Excursion to Rocky Mountain National Park on Thursday afternoon (12-6pm, includes boxed lunch): $35
Optional Conference Dinner at the Rodizio Grill in Old Town Fort Collins on Wednesday evening (includes shuttle transportation): $85
Presentation and Poster Upload Information
We request that all oral presentations and posters are uploaded to the VIII CPCM Archive using the following Google Form. Please upload your presentation and poster files by Monday, 2 September if possible.Â
The organizing committee will download all oral presentations prior to the start of the session and will have your presentation ready on the podium laptop for each in-person speaker. Virtual presenters are also asked to upload your presentation in case of technical difficulties with Zoom, but may share their screen if this is preferred.
Poster Presentation Information
The poster boards are 8 feet by 4 feet in a landscape orientation. Please print your poster to fit within this poster board size.
Parking Information
If you need to park a vehicle on campus, please plan to park in lot 740 immediately east of Research Blvd and Centre Ave. A map of campus can be found here. Hourly parking can be purchased at the pay station located in the parking lot near the tennis courts or online here using zone 2009. Parking is enforced Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm in this lot.Â
Call for Abstracts Announcement
Abstract submissions are now closed for the VIII CPCM Workshop. The program committee seeks contributions on all aspects of convection-permitting climate modeling, including but not limited to:
