  • Organized and coordinated the PECAN Precipitation Instrumentation Experiment (PIE) team to deploy three mobile disdrometers from June 15-July 15
  • Operated the Center for Severe Weather Research (CSWR) Scout 4 mesonet vehicle and deployed 3 disdrometers in nocturnal mesoscale convective systems
  • Research mentor for two SOARS students from May to August 2015
Dynamics of the Madden-Julian Oscillation (DYNAMO) Field Campaign - Addu Atoll, Maldives (2011)
  • Computer technical support, data processing, algorithm/code writing, IT support, computer administrative duties, research products

  • Participated in “ski-sondes” that took detailed profiles of Whistler Mountain via skiing
  • Took “gondola-sondes” using a handheld Kestrel instrument on the Whistler Gondola
Rain In Cumulus over the Ocean (RICO) Field Campaign - R/V Seward Johnson, Antigua/Barbuda (2005)
  • Undergraduate student observer
  • Launched rawinsondes every 4 hours during intensive observation periods
  • Processed rawinsonde data, made skew-t plots
  • Interviewed scientists on the ship and made a list of the available instrumentation and functionality on the R/V Seward Johnson
